The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 255,000 General Electric food processors sold at Walmart. The agency said the safety lock that keeps the lid in place while in use can fail, posing laceration risks, and the product can also emit smoke or catch fire. There have been 58 total reports regarding the various defects, including 21 reports of injuries to fingertips.
