Creating
the Attorney-Client Relationship
Here is how an attorney-client relationship
can be created between you and Attorney Ted Bills or the
Bills Law, LLC legal firm:

You must provide information
about a specific problem, claim, or legal issue you
feel you may have by talking directly with Attorney
Ted Bills.

During that initial
FREE discussion, he will evaluate the information gathered
during such a communication and inform you directly
if he is willing to represent you in the specific matter
you presented to him.

During that same initial
FREE discussion, he will also discuss fee alternatives
and cost reimbursement arrangements with you.
If either Attorney Ted Bills or you do
not agree to create an attorney-client relationship, then
none will exist.
An Agreement to represent you in a specific
matter does not obligate the Attorney to represent you either
generally or in any other specific matter.
Commitment
to Prospective Clients
Attorney Ted Bills will keep confidential
any information you provide when you ask him to evaluate
a possible claim or discuss other legal problems, to the
same extent that such information would be confidential
if an attorney-client relationship actually existed.
The information will remain confidential
even if you and the Attorney do not both agree to create
an attorney-client relationship.
Commitment
to Actual Clients
When you become a client of Attorney
Ted Bills:
- He will represent you zealously, competently,
and diligently.

He will keep you informed
of the progress of the matter in which he is your attorney

He will respond to
your reasonable requests for information about the matter

He will be loyal to
you and put your interests first

He will not represent
anyone who is opposed to you in the same or a substantially
related matter

He will keep confidential
all information relating to the representation, unless
you consent to its release
- He will use your confidential information
only to advance your interests in the matter in which he is
serving as your attorney
Exceptions
to Confidentiality

Information that
is generally known, such as a listed telephone number,
is not confidential

All attorneys generally
reserve the right to reveal confidential information
if:

It is believed
that it is necessary to prevent your committing
a crime that is likely to result in death or substantial
bodily harm

It is needed
to establish a claim or to defend the attorney or
the law firm in a controversy with you

It is needed to
respond to allegations about how the attorney or
firm has represented you
Geographical
limitations
Attorney Ted Bills, limits his practice
to issues applicable only to Colorado Law. He highly recommends
consulting with an attorney and acting only on the advice
of an attorney on any legal matter.
