Fatal Boating Accident In Conn. Prompts Lawsuit

A lawsuit has been filed in the death of a New York man who was killed in a boating accident in 2008. The lawsuit, filed by the family, named more than 70 people as plaintiffs. The family member died when the boat he was riding in was struck by a fishing boat that was involved in an overnight fishing tournament. The lawsuit contends that the driver of the fishing boat did not have the proper license or safety certificate to operate the boat. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages
