Judge OKs Lawsuit Against Cigna

A federal judge has given the green light to a lawsuit over an incident in which employees at Cigna Corp.s Philadelphia headquarters allegedly heckled the mother of a 17-year-old girl who died after the insurer refused to pay for a liver transplant. U.S. District Judge Gary Allen Feess ruled that the family could pursue damages for emotional distress. In 2007, a California judge rejected the familys wrongful death lawsuit against Cigna
