Suit Filed over Illegal Campaign ‘Robocalls’

A class-action lawsuit has been filed against a non-profit organization accused of making illegal “robocalls” for the Mitt Romney presidential campaign. Under FCC regulations, “pre-recorded voice messages and auto-dialed calls to cellphones or other mobile devices are prohibited.” The suit is seeking $500 in damages for each illegal phone call.
